Chrome you grill for free!!!!
If you have a 89-94 toyota pickup or runner your grill will be black or if you spent a ton of money for a chrome one. Here is a good way to get that chrome grill that you always wanted! Take some paint remover to the grill or head light area. It will take the black off! Very easy! hope you all injoy! Let me know what you all think! Later, Josh

I think my grill is already "chrome". It's that plastic chrome like film that goes over the plastic grille. I'm guessing the previous owner blacked out the chrome on yours, and did a crappy job.

chrome grill
So I guess I was wrong on the whole chrome grill thing! Its only on the trucks not the 4runners! A friend and I have the same year of truck, we noticed that out trucks had black grills. So I took some paint thinner to clean it up before I re painted it black come to find out it was taking the black off. Under that was chrome. So I took all the black off and it looks nice and chrome.

you should do the headlight rings and the corner lamp trim too. i think that runner looks sick. i want to do my new one like that but the wife wont let me. (she will be driving it)

i took the black off of my headlight bezels because the rest of my grille was chrome. if i had a black grille i would just get black chrome and make it really shiney but still black.

After years of wheeling hard in the desert and going all flat rattlecan tan and black...I have to admit I'm settling back and enjoying the clean shiny chrome crap on my newer lighter duty, less hardcore 'Yotas.
Yes and I'm fatter now as well.
