Bank 1 is the O2 sensor in front. This is a 96 with the 3.4? Check URD:
http://www.urdusa.com/product_info.p...s_id=430006000
URD's $89 is a decent price, Lee pointed out that there are also other vendors here on YT. Drop a PM to a member named "strap22", he's been giving killer prices on stuff.
Do NOT replace the O2 sensor with a generic. It may seem that you can save money, but the Toyota gear REALLY wants to see an OEM (Denso) in there. People have tried generics and had nothing but weirdness.

sorry rabid I thought you said it wa a 95 not a 96 that is why I pointed to the TE1 and E1, yes it is OBDII. I see you got the code and I agree with Midi, changeout the O2 sensor. If you can't get a affordable replacment from one of the members here. You can get an OE one from www.sparkplugs.com.

When you switched gas, did you happen to move to something with more ethanol in it? Different gas station? Any chance for a ton of water in the tank?

I have been having the same problem.
99 4Runner Limited, v6.
Code is PO171. System Too Lean Bank 1.
Replaced the oxygen sensor with one I picked up from NAPA.
Plugs look good, checked throttle body and it was clean.
Code keeps coming back on. Am I missing something? Could it be another problem.
Truck runs fine and has 77k miles.

Past that...
Air filter, TPS, MAF, TB (you covered that though), fuel filter.. Did you search for what other folks have done?
Where are you in the world? (I'm asking to get an idea of elevation, weather, etc)
