Ok I believe my sensor may have been damaged when I ran my truck hot recently according to what I'm reading on something I googled. A guy ran his truck hot and the sensor melted. So I'm going to replace that and I'm pretty sure that will fix code 52. As for code 25 I'm stuck. My car reads a similar code although its ford it reads a lean bank 1 and bank 2 code. I don't know where to start. If the O2 sensor is sending this code to the ecu wouldn't that mean the O2 sensors are fine. As for fuel pressure and air flow could be a bad fuel injector "the worse in my case" fuel filter maybe? Or MAF Sensor?

the knk sensor is buried deep in your engine pretty much center and underneath your intake manifold good luck as for running lean it could be o2 sensor you can test that with a voltimeter

it could also be your engine coolent temp sensor, fuel line pressure, ignition system, engine ground bolt loose or an open injector circuit

the 25 is generated by the ECU, not the O2 sensor and means that the ECU has to continuously compensate for a lean mixture and has reached its limit of adjustment. Vacuum leaks, ignition timing, fuel injection system, exhaust leaks between the engine and the O2 sensor... several possible causes for that code.

haha no its way under that like i said before its the worst thing to replace its not just under the plenum its under the manifold actually screwed into on the block :/ sorry for the bad news i tried to get to mine a couple times when i was getting the 52 error... turns out i forgot to plug it in when i replaced my engine...also they run like a couple hundred bucks

no i was helping... i was laugh-puking at the thought of removing the knk sensor and rebel i didn't mean for it to sound like i was laughing at you sorry if i did i am here for you buddy anyway you might need to remove the timing belt to get to it if i am remembering correctly maybe someone can verify or if you need to know i can tear into mine a bit today to double check

Correct you will have to take off the timing belt idler at the top front of the engine to get to the intake manifold. The belt does not have to come off but it will go slack. I had to take mine down this point a few months ago to replace the no1 water bypass hose.
As for the knk sensor you may want to check the wiring coming from the sensor. Most of the time its the wires that fail and not the sensor. The wires are also a cheaper fix. If the engine got hot the wires run down in a tight spot between the block and intake manifold. More than likely the insulation on the wires has melted causing a short.
On the other hand if your in there, it would be a good idea just to replace the knock sensor. Just so you don't have to do the job twice. Its a PITA.
