I may be reading this wrong...but according to warn with Zero load, 80 amps.

Something tells me I am incorrect...I think you know more about the electrical stuff than I do though Abe. Help?

Something tells me I'm wrong too but Warn says themselves-
0# load - 80 amps.
2000# load- 200 amps.
4000# load- 285 amps.

Given that, a Boyle alternator ain't gonna do much either without a strong battery behind it for the reserve capacity.
A stock alternator outputs what, like 60 amps and the boyle maxes at 130?
Either way, you would be drawing off the battery reserve.

Well i think we can both agree that a good quality battery with a strong reserve is the first step a person needs to take. That, and upgrade cables and wiring.

Thanks DC. I've been wondering about this for a while now. This looks like a great alternative to using a GM part in my Yota. I feel like I'll be cursing/cussing my truck by doing so.

Besides the rear springs... those prove themselves.
I knew as soon as I posted someone was going to mention using all of the components at the same time.
I guess it's a good thing I have a spare toyota alternator to juice out.

Of course if you're tired of crying about dead batteries, you could always get yourself a P.T.O.

The company is called pro starter and alternators, located in san diego ca
phone #619-888-7202

email pro.starter.alternators@gmail.com

I think having a rebuilt toyota alternator is alot better because it will bolt in with no mods and the wiring is plug and play.
