hey guys! figured id make an account so i can post here. i love my new to me 89 pickup its got worn 31's with a 3 inch BL. fun as hell to drive! whatdya guys think? no rust at all on her, anywhere. for wisconsin that is freaking unheard of for any type of vehicle. i went ahead and dupli-color bed lined the bottom as seen in the picture and painted my steps with 3m undercoating, bad idea as its scratched easily. oh well. also put a new bumper and valance on it. here she is

Sweet find. I would suggest taking it to Toyota and have them to run the VIN on it and see if it got the Steering Relay rod replaced under the factory recall. That would be a freebie fix and an alignmnent.
Spend som time keeping the frame clean and I wash the inside of my frame and squirt some oil in as best as possible. Especially where the front of the rear springs attach to the frame as they can rot out ba, a well known problem with Toyotas and really in your part of the coutry.

yeah me and my brother had to re do a toyota frame that was completely shot. so thankful i found one as clean as this for 1700!
