in cab full size spare solution
I have been wanting to get my spare tire a little more out of the way for a while. its been sitting in the rear deck and it take up the whole space. I ordered a few builder parts from ruff stuff, a piece of circle flat plate with a Toyota wheel pattern drilled into it, a 2" tube clamp, and a small length of DOM tubing. I fish mouthed the tube to fit the clamp. I sat my spare (33") up against the pass side roll bar and got some quick measurements, 8" out from the bar puts it right at the edge of the wheel hump. tacked it all together and test fit, had to angle the clamp slightly to match the pitch of the roll bar leg. I also offset the circle plate further towards the rear to get the tire off the back seat a little. I used 1/2"x13 bolts for the lugs and I have some wingnuts in the mail to fasten it down. worked out well I think.

Nice solution.
Does that 33" fit underneath the truck?

The spare in my 4R is BFG 33x10.5 r15 in Toyota alloy rim T 15x7JJ-8 DOT Offset 8 (as the other 4 because I rotate them), it fits in the spare location, but 1.5 inches from the exhaust, too close for my taste, it needs minimal exhaust work or heat wraps around that area, and in my case the spare tire hoist "holder"? (is that its name?) for alloy rims, because my 4R has the one for the steel rims.
