A/C Compressor Not Turning On

Did you try jumping the relay as I suggested before? That takes the low pressure switch & the engine temperature control switch out of the loop, either of which (if equipped) will send a signal to the cut off relay to shut down the compressor.

AC Clutch

88 3.0L 4WD 4Runner
Discharge hose replaced(tether busted and it was chewed up by the power steering pulley)..
Had hose rebuilt, now it appears I do not have enough pressure from my little r134a can to kick the clutch on..
Can you tell me the easiest way to attch 12v to the clutch? it is quite difficult to reach down onto the compressor itself... Do I need to reset a pressure switch also?
