Broken Electrical Plug On 22RE
Hey guys, I've got a 92 pickup 4x4 with the 22RE. I was pulling the motor on my truck last weekend and I was unplugging plugs and one of them came apart. I'm assuming it's some kind of sensor. Could someone tell me what the plug is for so I can replace it? I think it's a safe bet I definitely can't leave it.
Sorry the pictures are kinda confusing. These pictures are taken looking into the engine bay while standing near the front passenger corner. The plugs is located on the front of the block. Roughly directly in front of and below the thermostat housing. The throttle body has been unbolted and twisted up and out of the way but the plug would be between the throttle body and the valve cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I don't know much about the 22re, but if I read this page http://web.archive.org/web/201501160...ne/39colds.pdf of the FSM correctly, you've broken the Cold Start Injector Time Switch.

Someone with a 22re may be able to give you better information.

That's correct. It IS the Cold Start Injector Time Switch.
