Broken Bump Stop - 91 4Runner
'91 4Runner 4-WD - Broken Bump Stop.
While replacing the rear shocks I noticed the passenger-side Bump Stop has broken off and is laying loose inside the coil spring (see picture). In checking the driver-side - it is still attached but not securely. How is the best way to repair this?
Thank You for Your Help!

Found this video helpful - 2nd Gen 4Runner Overload Bumper Repair
It clearly demonstrates the problem and how this gentleman made the repair (nicely done!). I do not have a welder or yet know how to weld. Considering as an alternate solution to drill a hole in the top-center of the upper coil spring mounting bracket and run a bolt all the way through and out the top. I have access to the area between the top of the rear coil spring and the body of the vehicle - pretty good access!
I want to keep this tread active as I'm sure other 2nd Gen 4Runner owners have experience the same problem, and hopefully some will share their solutions.
Thank You!
