na, i'm more into trails and rock crawling, thats why i'm getting rid of the IFS. but i'll bomb it every once in awhile.

But yeah, definitely get rid of IFS...and do a SAS. You'll love it.

here is my 89 2wd it has an 3 inch body lift and probably about 2 inch suspension t-bars cranked and add a leafs in the rear. with 30 by 9.50 tires i don't like my current setup mostly cause the lack of down travel sucks off road and i dont like the big body lift. i want to get lift spindles and put the rear end under the springs take out the add a leafs and cut my body lift down an inch or so.

There are some very cool 2wd lifts out there, since you don't have to worry about the halfshafts and such, its much easier to lift a 2wd IFS than a 4WD IFS, do some research.
