MAybe the booster has the problem, not the master! It's just permanently helping you
no I have not I actually got the day off so I’m going to trouble shoot the breaking system today, we’ve been swamped at work so I’ve had little time

It's not rocket science. More like lego and garden hoses :p
You'll find the problem.

you mentioned that the brake pedal push rod might not be adjusted properly, how would I adjust that?

*UPDATE* drove it home after PT (I’m in the army) still did the same things, brakes seeming to drag. Changed and went back to work with no issues at all. Drove perfect, didn’t feel no dragging of the brakes acceleration was much better and went to coast to a stop and coasted much better.. this is what I was trying to explain earlier it’s not constant it’s sporadic.

Don't go straight for adjusting the pedal pushrod, you need to diagnose things first so you don't throw a bunch of money or time at this and not fix your issue.
This being intermittent will make things harder to verify.
One more question, is this a stick or automatic?
A couple of things to check/try:
You can tell if the pedal pushrod is adjusted too long by cracking open a bleeder at one of the calipers, if there is pressure there or if the brake is dragging and suddenly loosens up you may have an adjustment issue BTW there are two pushrods in question, the pedal to the booster and the booster to the master cylinder.
when the brakes (we are still assuming it's brakes) are dragging try lifting up on the brake pedal with your toe. If the pedal return spring is loose or missing it may be applying just enough pressure to the pushrod to leave the brakes slightly engaged.
If you can get to a hill where there is little or no traffic and duplicate the issue shut off the engine and see if the brakes let off

thanks for the additional insight. The truck is a stick. And I’m going to try the toe trick, where exactly is the pedal return spring located?

Ok pony up and take it to a mechanic before everything goes to ˟˟˟˟ and you pull the ebrake to stop and do a 180 into a ditch...

Ya know?

Make a list of the above helpful instructions and then tick them off?

I am a long way from my rig so I can't look right now, also I may be remembering from other manufacturers, but I remember there being a spring attached to the pedal itself to help pull it back up. up high on the shaft. It could be internal to the booster pushing instead of pulling.

If you replace the calipers, be sure to replace the caliper pins (based on your history). Less than $3.

Hey guys sorry it’s been a minute since I gave an update, but it was in fact the rear brakes causing the issue look stopped short I had to completely rebuild my rear brakes rotors shoes hardware and wheel cylinders. I’m honestly surprised the truck was still functioning. Thanks for all the help and insight it was very helpful at fixing and fixing the problem!

Cool!
Have fun.
Next time, listen to the freaks and do the checklists. MAkes life easier and leads to a faster solution.

Did you make sure the e-brake cables and/or bell cranks are not bound up like I originally suggested? if this all started with the parking brake hanging up you will have the same problem the next time you use it.
then you will warp another set of brake drums.
