That new one is really nice. looks like what i want to do to mine.......if i only had money. anyway i love the looks. and ive always been a fan of red.... kind of sets you apart from the everyday green and white that you always see.

Is that with the Option II lift you are offering and 33's?

Yes it is. I have added several other items but the lift is Option II. I added the Pan Hard bracket to recenter the rear axle, Lower Control Arm Truss and a Steering Stabilizer. Option II is is a great way to start.

So if i got your lift kit and 33x12.5's it would be as big as your truck? Is there any rubbing on you tires?

Yes it will sit the same. You will have to crank your T-bars a little (not much) and trim the inner fender liner. You may need to flatten the fender pinch welds but thats easy.

As for the CV joint I did have a problem early on but it was the aftermarket CV I believe was the problem not the tire size. I have wheeled this setup almost 2 years now and the only real problem was the inner axle. Even with that I was able to unlock the hubs and kept wheeling for the day and drove it two and half hours home. I did just break the inner drivers side axle but I was totally crank to wheel lock on the steering going up hill with the ARB locker on and bouncing when it caught traction. It had to be weak already because the CV should snapped first and it held up well. The new axle I put back in was redesigned and is thicker than the origanal one. I can honestly say I am very happy with this setup and plan on wheeling his for a long time. i didn't go to all the trouble to switch everything over if i didn't think it was worth it. I would consider 10.50's if I had it to do over again but I do like the looks of the 12.50's and the ride on bumpy terrain is great when aired down.

If i were to do the same set up would it be smarter to get 33x 10.5s instead of new rims and 33x12.5?

It's up to you. I like my setup but I would like to try some 10.5's sometime just to see if I would like them. I don't think you can go wrong with 10.5' or 12.5's. The money you save on new wheels will allow you to buy the other items you will want to get. Lower control arm truss, pan hard bracket, Lockers? Good luck and keep us posted on what you get. Post up some pictures when you are done. oh yeah when your ready to order let me know.

One question on those 10x15 wheels you have on... do you know how much backspacing they have?

I think they were 15x10" 6 on 5.5" w/3.5" backspacing. I bought them as a package deal from 4wheelparts a couple years ago. They are Rock Crawler Chrome Spoke made byTech 1. They have buy 3 get one free sometimes and the Tire specials too. I paid like $83.00 each plus lugs and Center Cap. The Tires are Pro Comp x-terrains 33x12.50x 15. Not a bad tire but if I had it to do over again I would probably go with a 15x8 wheel.

I like the wide stance, something I've always planned on doing. It looks good, and I figure it might give a little more stability, especially being topheavy.

But then again, I sling enough mud/dirt/rocks as it is with my 33x10.5s & stock rims.

Well the back bumper and sliders and snorkel are on and the final little touches will be complete this weekend. Can't wait to wheel this one.
