Well we got alot done but have run into a few little setbacks. First the vehicles are one year diffeent and toyota made several changes in. Some of the electrical plugs are different and the the distributor is different as well as the water hoses. I'll keep you posted.

the distrubitor is diffrent (cap wise) but the whole body is still interchanable (i ran into the same problem on the 3 motors in my garage)

you might notice some addtional diffrences in all the connectors on the back of the upper plenum and the water distbution block at the back of the motor....

The cap is different as are the distributor itself, the ignitor, plugs on the back side of the engine and few other minor issues but so we have worked thru it. We are taking the next couple nights off and will finish it up on Saturday. After that I will need a couple weeks of at home getting it setup withe the roof basket, lights, CB, changing the dasah pad, etc. I will try to post some pictures up this weekend...........

Apology acceted. No offense taken.

It really has changed it from a Mall Cruiser to a very useful machine. Still have a lot of little details to finish but the is half the fun.

Just wondering, how wide are your wheels? I think your wheel/tire combo looks awesome. As does the new truck. I just saw one of those bumpers at a junkyard here that I probably couldve gotten for 150. Ive been smacking myself for not grabbing it.

The wheels are a 15x10 and the tires are 33x12.50x15. As for the ARB winch bumper if you can buy it for $150.00 you should buy it. You can sell on EBay for 3 times that or more.

Should have, could have, would have..........glad you didn't. It really turned out to be alot more work than we anticipated. It is almost finished now just a few items left to do. (Rear Bumper, Snorkle, Sliders, ARB Compressor wiring and mounting the Compressor, repair hole in drivers seat, and replace the Dash Pad.) I still liked the old Green one. It died a noble death. I guess you can say it's heart was transplanted in the Red one. I can't wait to get this finished.
