the distrubitor is diffrent (cap wise) but the whole body is still interchanable (i ran into the same problem on the 3 motors in my garage)
you might notice some addtional diffrences in all the connectors on the back of the upper plenum and the water distbution block at the back of the motor....

The cap is different as are the distributor itself, the ignitor, plugs on the back side of the engine and few other minor issues but so we have worked thru it. We are taking the next couple nights off and will finish it up on Saturday. After that I will need a couple weeks of at home getting it setup withe the roof basket, lights, CB, changing the dasah pad, etc. I will try to post some pictures up this weekend...........

Just wondering, how wide are your wheels? I think your wheel/tire combo looks awesome. As does the new truck. I just saw one of those bumpers at a junkyard here that I probably couldve gotten for 150. Ive been smacking myself for not grabbing it.
