Body swap
When i buaght my runner it was rebuilt to stock specifications. I have recently bin doing some body work and to my horror i find out that the person was a bondo freak. There is bondo on everything. I always wondered why when i pounded the dents out there was such crazy cracks. Anyways i dont want this body anymore cuz there is like a cm of bondo of everything.
Any help would be great, Thanks Justin

I believe you would need to move a few of the body mount points as they are not the same on the pickup and fourrunner frames, not a big problem if you have a welder and time

You will most likely run into an issue with VIN numbers. Seems that registrations and VIN's are tied to the chassis so if you change the body, you're changing your VIN, just like buying a new vehicle. So, you'd need to have a release on file for the old VIN just so you could prove you own it and consequently put it on your frame.

It sucks, i know. Canadia (hehe) is probably not that much different than the USA. The VIN identifies a vehicle and is part of the chassis/'cab'. So when you change 'cabs' you're actually (legally?) changing vehicles.
Your other option is lead filler / sheet metal replacements.
Either way... good luck.
