Body Mount Life Expectancy
Gentlemen and Ladies,
In continued pursuit of a solid rebuilt 4Runner, I'm wondering if replacing body mounts is something I should consider. Assuming the stockers are rubber, would it be "worth it" to replace with polyurethane? It's a '90 with ~155k on the clock. Not looking for a body lift, and I can only assume that "new" would be "better," my question would be whether or not it would be "worth it" in your opinion.
Experiences?

my '87 needs new mounts bad...
Probably depends on the abuse your truck has been subjected to. My 4runner body shakes on the frame over bumps and is sagging down in the back such that the tailgate almost hits my Marlin rear bumper.
I have been trying to decide if I should replace with stock, or get the polys. If I go Poly, who has the best price/kit?

I heard that poly is way harsher then rubber. If you want mounts to last 100 years get poly, if another 15-20 years is fine get rubber. Truck up here in Canada don't ever have that problem because the mount rusts through the floor before the rubber breaks up ;o
