wow, thanks for all the great responces guys!

korn111685, yeah there's no smog pump on the 91; that little pulley you see is just a tentioner pulley, and the metal cover sheild on the front of it is painted silver

4banginRunner, yes the t-shirt was the right size, lmao

89OldBlue, thank you! yes it definately going to be a reliable daily driver, and occational weekend trail rig, so I'm trying to build it streetable, but still capable off the road; that's why next will be armor in the form of bumpers and sliders, then I'm moving underneith to install 4.88's and lockers, as well as a better t-case crossmember with a little more clearance

89topless, LMAO, that's pretty funny, lol

so today it rained ALL AFTERNOON... Florida this time of the years absolutely SUCKS!!!

so I kept in the garage, cleaned up a bit cause I had a pretty good mess in there, lol

I also went ahead and installed these little guys we'll see how well they work out

i have a six pack say's he's putting it in tonight...

builds like this get me one more step closer to building one.... mines only got 30,000miles or more on the rebuild, but looks like a 200,000mile motor.. just not as leaky.. i just

i cant wait for the next video.. if it's one thing this guy can do it's build the mess out of a 22re and make some bitchin azz videos to go along with it..

lol, after putting the t-bar bolts in, I only threaded them in so far; there's about 1/4" of thread left open at the top of the nut, and it was enough to support the weight of the truck with no motor. after setting the weight of the motor on it, it almost hit the bump stops, lol, so it's all raked forward now

so tomorrow, I've got to throw this baby on

drop in the radiator, fill her with fluids, do all the final checks and give it a once over for any loose and untightened bolts, and then fire her up! my father's going to be here a 8 am, and it'll probably be fired up by noon! I'M SO EXCITED!!!

oh and I can't believe I've never taken a pic of the temp truck, lmao

oh no doubt!

maybe not of first startup, but after a short break in and a valve adjustment, I'll get some running vids that capture some good sound, and maybe a drive-by and acceleration

after the break-in, I'll get a vid of the truck burning up the old tires sitting in my back yard out on some back road, just for kicks

our motors make tire smoke???

when mine was 2wd it'd burn them in 1st.. but only one tire.. now that it's in a 4x4 truck... i cant even spin them in the mud in 2nd gear. hahaha

when i see tire smoke behind that lil truck will be the day i build one just like it... hahaha

i dont understand...
my 22r runs like a champ.. 75-80mph all day (not uphill) but wont even think about spining the tires on pavment.. and their only 31's? maybe it's b/c they are super grip non slip $600 mud tires?? hahahaha

or maybe i dont have any power in that 22r...

i dunno.. it runs i dont care if it makes tire smoke.. thats what the goat is for

My 2wd 22RE will do about a 20ft one-wheel-peel with a bare bed and 205 tires on dry asphalt on a good day. Then again, the Pirellis on it are absolute garbage...
