How come you cant get the 1600 or 1800 for the 3vze from marlin? Its ghey. Yall think the 1200 would be enough for it? 2100 seem like it would be a bit much?

1200ft-lb marlin clutch FTW!!!! Nice progress Bleeder, that 22re looks mighty purdy. Its gonna suck the first time you hit a muddy puddle and it floods the engine with dirty water

alright, so it's been a while since recent pics, so how's about some shopping cart screen shots of things getting ordered at the end of this week on payday
As you can see, most of it's usefull stuff, but there's some things many might call "useless" in there, like the plug-wire bracket and polished oil cap from LCE and all the decals, but I'm get'n them anyway
The plan now is to get the clutch boted to the long block and get it set down into the truck, and then just put the rest of the motor together around it peice by peice, the same way I took it out

just a 22.5" lol
yeah the old bolts look fine, but I remember a thread a while back about cheap flywheel bolts shearing off, so the least I can do is thread in some new pressure-plate bolts

I really haven't seen any new flywheel bolts to buy for some reason
I think the originals will do fine; they look like they're in great shape and the threads look fine
shoot this reminds me, I need to take my flywheel down and have it resurfaced next week too

I ordered everything you had on the list except the sticker (they send them free) and the 1,600 P clutch (I got the 1,200), I would suggest the 1,200 pound as some people say (including some at marlin...) the 1,600 is "too much" your left leg will begin to buldge as if you were Arnold and your right leg... will look like it does now...
In other words it's too much pressure needed to push the petal in!
But hey, to each their own, if you feel you need the extra 400 lbs of force go for it! Let us know how it works

any problems encountered with the 1200lbs's grabbing force to speak of?
I have bad knees to begine with if the 1200lbs will contain 130-140hp and 31"s no problem, I might just go with it!
thanks!
oh yeah, and about the stickers; I really think that engnbldr needs to start selling decals I'd rock one on my rig

lol, I just went over the FSM again with the timing cover, and figured out where that dang extra bolt goes that I had driver's side, through the block and threads into the cover...
