a 16" Imperial; luckily a new design I never liked the old ones they use to have, but it looks like they've changed. It fits PERFECTLY over the core, covering from top to bottom, and it has "Made in the USA" stamped on it, so that's a plus

and the wiring kit, I just grabbed the best one they had has a control box and a relay that plugs into it, an adjustable dial on it to set the temp, the temp probe, and has the input for the AC clutch, so it'll kick on with the AC

I also got a 3-position switch for it, so I can have it on fully auto, override on, or override off

Hey nice! That's the same digital thermo control I bought to fix my flex a lite with. It's awesome!!!

**HINT-make sure to seal the relay on to the control box. Mine got a little water on it and the relay started freakin out!!!**

Also, if you run like a 20 gauge wire off the motor power wire you can have a LED light to indicate fan operation!!

hahaha, I thought about doing something similar while I was in the parts store looking that the wiring stuff; putting 2 LED's beside the switch: a green one for when it's on AUTO mode, and a blue one for OVERRIDE ON mode

but, I think I should be able to hear a 16" fan buzzing away, lol; me and the guys at the store were playing with it, hooking the wires up different ways on a battery and flpping the fan blade over, and it moves a LOT of air, and is pretty noisey

Oh yeah, I believe it! I like the indicator, it nice to see when it actually does come on. I can't hear my fan over my exhaust and stereo!!! lol!! When I swapped out my radiator it was amazing to see the difference of fan operations. Just fun I guess, no other reason! lol!

yeah this has turned into quite the project but all the old stuff on it is in need of attention really... and ok, so I'm taking some of the stuff to the extreme a little, lol

got a little more painting done; just the lower intake and the manual fuel pump blockoff plate. the skys were getting dark, so I called off any more work after the last coat of clear, and put the things in the garage to cure

looks righteous bro, reminds me somewhat of a stock, late 60's chevy small block perhaps.
