so I have received the wrong clutch from MC...
everything was going smoothly; popped the old pilot bearing out, popped the new one in, put on the new flywheel and locktited and torqued the bolts, and then went to line up the new disc and pressure plate, and yeah, it's too big...
now ACCORDING TO MC's WEB SITE, THIS IS THE CORRECT CLUTCH FOR MY TRUCK... it obviously isn't... the pins will not even come CLOSE to lining up on the flywheel...
hey you didn't happen to get too small of a clutch and 2 3" stickers did you?
OH I'm so pissed right now... this order took like a week and a half to come in... and I planned on dropping the motor in the truck this Saturday with the help of my dad...

Tomorrow get marlin on the phone and im sure they will over night the correct clutch to you.
That really sucks tho. It was my worst fear when i was doing mine, I had the tranny flush to the engine but the rear shaft would spin freely, it wasnt in gear lol.

no that would be awesome, lol
he's only about a 30 minute drive from me; I'd be at his front door in 28 1/2 minutes if he come's back and says "I got it"
lol

what the hell, why not... pics from the LITTLE BIT of progress I could make today:
well first, the MC order with the incorrect clutch disc and pressure plate
at least everything else was right
Got the motor into a position to work on the rear of it
I'll tell ya what, that engine stand's a lot easier to wheel around with nothing on it, lol
got the old pilot bearing out: video soon to come for that; I'm thinking about posting an instructional how-to on removing the pilot bearing easily
and popped the new one in
and bolted on the "pretty-plate"
followed by the new flywheel, torqed to 80ft/lbs and locktited

Your lucky you had a WHOLE pilot bearing in there. I only had the outer race haha.
Looks like a new rear main seal too?
Oh yea, that number on the clutch disk, thats the same number i had on my 1200ft lb one for my 3vz with the R150 tranny. Dont know if it will help but there ya go haha.

Put it in HQ mode, and the wording is a little easier to read I made the letters a bit small, lol
