But, better than the buckets.
I'm also tall, and I installed some buckets from a SR5. And just like you said, you lose leg room. The back rest is thicker than the bench, and because of all the side bolstering , you are pretty much seated in the middle of the seat. It's just too claustrophobic for me. The bottom bolstering makes it higher to get in, less leg room, skinner seat.
So my question to you guys, is there any buckets out there that has a flat bottom and back? Something like this... but with a head rest of course.

I paid 50 buckets cash for my two 4runner buckets from the wrecker.

I should also mentioned I tried to put Honda Civic seats in my rig but I found them to be way uncomfortable. The 4runners are comfy and bolt right in. cant beat it for 50 bucks
yes, yes, yes, I know. lol. I was stupid, I wanted them, and I wanted them now. lol. Since then I have done lots of research before buying crap.

The best way to find some seats you'll like is to take some measurements on your truck of the mounting and where the bolts are. I made a rough sketch of how it looked as well and took that info to the wrecker along with my tape measure.

Seats? Who needs seats?

New hotness.

I ripped out the carpet while I was in there and put bedliner on the floor.

did you make that center consolit looks nice got any piks of it?

I was too tall for my "turbo seats" so i replaced the springs with the exact same size springs but new ones had some give and "spring" in them. I sit about 2 inches lower and dont get thrown into the moon roof when i hit a bump.

Why bother? Just keep the bench seat. The whole point of buckets, aside from being able to have a center console to keep crap in, is to get more comfortable seating and support. That flat horrible thing you posted is probably worse than a bench.
