Bellhousing Compatibility
My drivable truck is an 88 pickup with a W56B transmission. However I’m also parting out a truck with a G52 transmission. Both are 4x4 trucks. Minus the difference in top/fwd shift transfer cases, are the bellhousings cross compatible? I would like the save the G52 transmission as it only has 26k miles on it but if I’m not sure if I need to save the bellhousing as well or will the gearbox bolt up to the W56B transmission bellhousing.

Thanks I couldn’t find it on Marlins but the info from Marlin was on the Toyota Bible 2.0. Forgot to check there to begin with, thanks for jogging my memory though!
