lol, I meant good to hear they're reversible. I wouldn't go through the hassle of machining new parts if it isn't necessary. I'm prob wrong here, but wouldn't the manufacturer make a part that would require as little modification to the vehicle as possible to install? My logic is they would've gone ahead and done it if it meant better sales and less customer support issues blah blah blah...sorry for ranting.

I'm not really sure why SDORI doesn't do this, one less machining process? You might have to trim INTO one of the holes for the bolts. I'm not sure this would work.
The material you remove from the UCA is trivial and does not weeken the arm, you could even just hammer it back (very difficult to do because of space). I would not trim the spacer as it is designed to be a load/shear bearing device

I agree.

The spacer is just a block of aluminum under mostly compression forces. Being that they are machined out of billet aluminum, they are almost bullet proof for the job at hand IMHO. Now the bolts I could see some significant shear stress on them. The amount of material I removed from my spacers was trivial too, but the stock UCAs are definely different than mine. Just throwing out the idea it may be possible but of course use common sense.

What about the Downey MEGA Travel Ball Joints? Did they incorporate the spacer in the ball joint or would a spacer be needed with those aswell?
