Ball joint spacer = rough ride??
I know these trucks don't ride good from the start, but after I did the b.j. lift, mine is almost unbearable. I'm also running boggers, and I know that's not helping any either. I changed shocks to doestech to no avail. I don't know if the torsion bars haven't ever been adjusted, but I haven't touched them since owning it. I have considered trying to lower it a tad by backing off on torsion bars, but hate to change alignment.
is there any way to get a decent ride out of the truck with the bj lift on? Every little bump i hit feels like they have a 3" lip on them!

Can you look at your bumpstops to see if your control arms are hitting the upper or lower one? Maybe you need to adjust your t-bars a bit to give you some up and down travel.

I believe the old man emu torsion bars are heavy-duty, they will have a higher than OEM spring rate. You can use them with a lower preload. They have good support and can tell you specifically how the spring rates compare and if they have other than a HD part.
