Offtopic but they fill Tractor tires with calcium chloride... but this is for weight. Thought I'd throw that out there since we're onto weird tire facts.
Never heard of the balls in the tire, not sure how that works having a hard time visualizing it =/

I tried AirSoft BB's in my old MTR's and couldn't get it to ballance right, and I tried about 5 different amounts. If you do try it don't listen to anybody who says you can't put too many in, because you can. Only so many BB's can cover the surface of the location that is out of balance once it is exceeded the rest of the BB's need to go somewhere which means they are going to other locations conteracting the ones that are in the correct location. If you go to innovative balancing's website they give weight for specific tires, go with that weight.
I am using Dynabeads in my Iroks now and they work great.

I was having a hard time getting my 33's balanced on my 4Runner a while back and a "professional" tire shop tried using the bb's to balance....LAME. There was so much wobble it was scary. I immediately took it back and finally found a legitimate tire shop that could balance a tire.

x2 on tooo many sucks. i did 18oz in my 39's at first and there were worse then backed down to 17 oz and works great.
I like them because you cant knok them off the rim and you dont have to pay the 50 bucks a tire for balancing they gouge you with up here!!

for what its worth, i balanced out a set of 37" goodyear mtr's with half a paint can cap full of metal bb's. worked great and drove on em as a daily driver 25 miles each way to work. i found that 99% of the time, the balance was perfect. 1% of the time i would get up to speed and it would feel like one of the tires didn't balance, which makes sense if you think about it. speed up too fast or too slow and a clump of beads get plastered to one spot across the width of the tire. but for the most part, worked great and saved a bunch of money mounting and balancing my own tires.
ps...the sound the bb's make when you come to a stop will also throw you/other people for a loop at times

It would require a lot of torque for the drill to take it up to full speed with a 20g weight off centre. It would have to be a pretty powerful drill.
