anyone with 5 inch rough country?
hey guys i got a 5 inch rough country lift for my 90 4runner. going thru a hell of a time trying to get this thing to drive right. its swirving all over the road pulling around on grooves ,,and when going into corners it just wants to keep turning so i need to straightn out the wheel in the middle of the turn. everthing is good in the front end had it out of the shop yesterday inspected., got new tires and rims everything is legit. i have gotten two wheel alighnments now from different shops. everyone says get an alighnment but it dosent seem to help. i neeed help! lol

It was a new complete 5 inch kit. I just put on a old man emu steering stabilizer 15 mins ago and no difference. I called rough country told them my problems and they said you might have to trim the tie rod threads back 1/2 an inch . Why would this make a difference if both the places I got alighnments from said it was dead on ??

Unfortunately this is normal for bracket lifts. Mine does exactly what yours does and I have a Superlift. The problem we are having is called tramlining : http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=47
