Question Any alternative MAF's usable for 22re?

Hello I have a 95 2wd pickup(22re). I currently have the factory FLAP style MAF and I am fabbing up a turbo kit. My fuel control device (apex-i AFC neo) does not seem to be compatible with the factory maf. I belive to have found the correct air flow signal wire and when installed, the truck won't stay started.

Does any one know of an alternate MAF I would be able to wire in and use for a boosted 22re???

There is one factory toyota "alternative" MAF that you can swap in, as long as you swap in the required injectors - ask about this on:
www.22rte-trucks.com

It's a flapper style.

There *may* be some piggy back systems that you can use that interact with the stock MAP, again, I think the answers are on the above forum - most piggy back systems don't like the non-standard signal of the toyota setup.

If you're just trying to add fuel, there are easier alternatives.. :-)
