I put 20% all the way around and I love it, the back windows are kinda like mirrors but thats good because theives only steal what they can see, for the most part.
and yeah backing up at night sucks with the 20% tint, in my friends truck with 5% tint your either blind or you have to stick your head out of the window. but it looks good which is whats inportant

Laws suck in NY but when your wheeling when it is dark out, tinted windows are the biggest pain in the butt! I chose 75% because even though it is still illegal, it does not look that dark during the day and cops mostly could care less. At night it is just about right. You cannot see in the car when it is dark out.
Window tint ratings go by a percentage of light passing through it not the other way around. So my 75% means it allows 75% of light to pass through the tint. I will post some pics.

75% is like...less than stock?
30% is pretty easy to see through, not that dark lol
i'm tinting my windows because i have sesitive eyes, i work outside all day and wear tinted safety glasses..i'd just like to NOT have to wear sunglasses EVERYTIME i'm driving during the day.
and i'll have expensive stuff in the runner...like others have said, thieves usually only steal what they can see.

Just so yall know. The factory tint on most cars is around 20%. The number means how much light the tint lets through.
I put 5% over the factory 20% and put 20% over the far back window. I love it, You cant see in but you can see out in the day time.
