My radiator has ˟˟˟˟ the bed and i'm looking to buy a new one, has anyone had any luck with ebay or amazon radiators? saw this one on amazon for 100 bucks and it had decent reviews, if anyone has experience with any ebay gems i'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm running that radiator - purchased locally not on ebay. My first one lasted four years and only failed because I put the fan through it, went ahead and bought the second. I am getting lots of cooling and having no issues. It's obviously much cheaper than a brass tanked radiator, probably less durable if it takes a hit.

If you want the Spectra 50 Radiator, RockAuto has it for a few dollars less. With shipping, it might be a push, but I've been very pleased with RockAuto's service.

Personally, I got the OSC 50 Radiator, for about the same price. I don't beat that hard on my radiator, but it has worked just fine for me.

Don't get too excited about brass tanked radiators, or worry about plastic tanks. No new car manufacturer uses brass anymore, and if they were a warranty headache, that wouldn't be the case. I believe the "plastic" tanks are polycarbonate (think football helmets), which is probably tougher than brass anyway.

I don't remember what part number I put in the RET, it's likely the same part regardless of the branding..

I will say you should consider your local economy and order that part from your local Napa franchise. If it costs you an additional 50% you have the piece of mind that A: the owner of that store is a local resident and invested in your local economy and B: if you ever have an issue with it you can talk face to face with someone who is vested in your success..

I'm a bit jaded with the "plastic" tanks in general. One of my kids hit a raccoon and the tank ruptured due to the impact. I believe if the OEM had specified a metal tank it would have only deformed.. Plus my local radiator shop can solder a cracked metal tank and they just shrug and say " replace it" at the plastics ones..

(Yes I know the cost of repair is the same as replacing one but in one hand it goes to the landfill and in the other "local economy"..)

In my case the price locally was basically the same as rockauto once it was shipped so I bought local from CarQuest.

I agree with supporting the local guys but sometimes the local guys need to evolve a bit. If rockauto can get it to me cheaper and quicker why would I go out of my way to pay somebody locally for worse service? I'll spend the money I save on car parts locally at restaurants/other entertainment so I guess really the local economy is getting more out of me if I get cheaper parts online.

Im using that same radiator. Bought it from autozone at least 10yrs ago and its still doing fine. I don't drive my old 90 all that much probably 35k since I installed it.
