95 4Runner steering wheel shaking BAD!
So, the title sums it up pretty well. I bought some used BFG All Terrains and rims a few weeks ago and since I put them on my steering wheel shakes horribly and even worse while braking and it happens at pretty much all speeds. I think it's the wheel bearings as they need to be replaced but it wasn't doing it before I put the new(used) tires on. Over 70 mph is real bad. As far as I know the ball joints and cv's and the idler and pitman arm are good. The steering rod recall has been done as well. I guess my question is what are your thoughts on this problem and how much would it cost roughly if I was to take it to a shop to replace the wheel bearings? Most likely I'll get a friend who works for Toyota to help me but he might not be able to for a few weeks and I think I need to address this soon.

take your 4runner back and have them balance the tires. it sounds exactly like what my 4runner was doing. I had a bad vibe and the whole 4runner would shake around 65. spent $40, got the tires balanced, and it rode smooth as glass.
