94 t4r won’t shift into drive after cruise control?!?!
I was delivering pizzas in my 94 3.0 auto 4x4 whorerunner and using cruise and it suddenly started shifting in and out of neutral and the cruise light started blinking. I turned off cruise, and kept going. Later on it started shifting in and out of drive and now won’t engage into any gear at all and is stuck in neutral. I’ve checked the linkage and connectors and I recently put a new trans and torque converter in so I don’t believe it could be that. Any ideas?

Even with all the electronics out, the transmission will still shift into each gear. http://web.archive.org/web/201408161...33manualsh.pdf Either your linkage is not shifting the transmission, or your "new trans" was not such a good deal after all.
