93 22re Shutdown while driving
Hi guys! Driving home from work Saturday night cruising at 60 started losing power. Downshifted to 4th tried kickstart. Nothing. Pull over tried multiple times. Nothing! Pull it to my house. Put a jumper in the port. I hear my pump. Tried cranking and have spark. Sat a few more minutes. It cranked like normal. Ran bout 45sec got really rough and cut off. Just turns over. Came back next day pull code13. Tried cranking it did same thing ran 45sec shutoff. I got 12hr shift and dont wanna pay Uber! Help please.

Did it happen to be raining or water on the streets from melted snow? I’ve had this happen with wet weather, ended up being moisture in the distributor cap. New o-ring solved it...
If it’s not that, CO nailed it.
Check the air gap at the pick up in the distributor, bad pick up coil in the distributor, bad/melted wiring between the distributor and ignitor, bad melted wiring between igniter and ecu, bad igniter (apparently not all that common), or bad distributor (they can wear out, but not too common).
If it’s not that, CO nailed it.

If the jumper when you heard your pump run was between FP and +B and was installed when the problem reoccurred then your circuit opening relay isn't it.If it cranks and won't start again check for spark quickly while it's doing this and report back. Or if you got it running, update the thread with that
