OK anyway....


I think I will take the cam out..........and look at it and maybe officially de-skank the top of the head.

As far as those exhaust valves go, I will try to get a good pic,,,all 4 are the same......suggestions????? PUMPKINYOTA said no new valves without taking the head to the machine shop, right?? that's what he said I think?

Your valves should be alright just clean them up some and you'll be good. Give them a good lapping and all is well.

I'm gonna agree totally..the mating surfaces were fine... I just find it weird (to me) that the intake ones are fine and the exhaust ones are BLECH!

was really just alot of detail work. lots of spraying / wiping / wiping and spraying........made sure to do the "pop-pop-pop" thing several times, you could here the abrasiveness change as i went along...

Good deal...Ya lotta oozing, wiping, cleaning, oozing, cleaning, spraying...but worth it in the end.
