my "it's raining" was actually supposed to be IT'S RAINING??? because it's be-a-u-te-us out here....but my wife just called and said "it's pouring" on here way home from work in Pittston.

oooh...that's kinda creepy, creeper.

my son and i spent 3 1/2hrs mowing grass for someone yesterday whose grass had yet to be cut this year....mowing and weedwacking and by the time we left there it looked perfect.

in other words we were both wiped out...but of all things, my little guy was the one to sleep in.....so i said, we're good people, i am employed in a noble profession, i doubt we will go to hell for this, and if we do, i apologize.

anyway....running for a shower now and the to the Garden Drive-in junk sale, er, i mean, flea market, to see what i can see there....then have to do some obligatory shopping etc....so my day is still booked up...because i will be running to work probably about 5 or 6pm too for a while to do reports.

so ya thought you caught me.....hehehhehe

what should i have ready for thursday? should i get more brake cleaner, i used mine up cleaning the head...what else can you think of?

Can't think of anything right now, I should have enough stuff (tools etc) to do it, but yeah pick up more brake cleaner and PB if you need it.

I've been busy making quick and dirty rear wheel wells on my flatbed.

Did you buy anything good at the garden?

LMAO have you seen my avatar?

I tell you what, it held up, but I decided to go with a dual 4' Wilson Flex setup (Flex-4). Now it looks like my truck kinda has Yoda Ears. haha.

I am not sure but I do think this one has been peaked, just don't know how much swing etc, but I do know it puts out 10W dead Key to a 25W PEP factory. My swr meter actually tells me this thing is doing about 40W PEP.

These radios are popular because they are export ham radios that are pretty much easily modded to CB bands.

I also have a Uniden PC-244 and a Uniden Grant Sitting by my side here. The 244 has issues though with what I think is the TX/RX switching circuit. Sad because this has got to be one of the best talking radios for audio out there. The Grant Doesn't really have an issue, but I replaced it with this Superstar because I found a good deal on it used.

My Boss has a Grundig 750 Satellite, .....I can listen to Japanese Radio,.....can't understand it though! lol.

Dang, I feel left out. My 86 had a nice Cobra in it, and this one, before he sold it to me, he removed the CB, GRRRRR, lol. The antenna mount is still on the roof, so that's a start, right? Anyway, I gotta go post on my thread,....the guy in Wilmington CAN'T FIND THE AFM! SO TICKED!

So..........you guys are fixing the '92' on Thurs.? FINGERS CROSSED, ...no gremlins!
