Some of the head bolts go threw oil passages in the motor. THis is what I was told when Engnbldr said not to use too much anti-seize on the head bolts when putting them in because the anti-seize can block the oil passages.

i kinda figured a much because of the amount of oil in the holes.....alot ore than presumed seepage around the bolts. i remember those bolts being a mess and a beyotch to get out .

Some of the head bolt holes serve as the oil passages to the head. My understanding is that you should only put motor oil, not anti-seize, on the head bolt threads when installing them. That's what I did.

Oh Jerry, I think I have an antenna and mount and wire for ya too for yur new radio. Hooking up dual antennas, but the little bit of rain put a hamper on me for a bit, hopefully it won't last long.

thursday is cool....

and no i have no clue what the "and this and this and this" is from.

and you reminded me, i meant to go digging in my mom's basement while i was 5 blocks away from it 2 hrs ago to look through my dad's stuff......ten bucks says he has multiple antennas from years ago (he's dead now, so no joking please)

You got a garage, rain shouldn't stop ya, hahaha

And let me know, cus I might have that 102" whip for ya. the mount is less than 2 months old. Same with the antenna, and well, you saw it.
