so here's what i'm gonna do...........going to spend the rest of my day, reading my little tablet of notes, looking in MY PICTURES on the laptop (not this PC I'm using now), because for the crucial portion of the disassembly i was only able to download pics onto my laptop.

and since photobucket does not separate the pis chronologically, i will have to use my own photo library for this part.

likely, that is all the assembly for today. not a bad 2 days if i do say so myself.

the FSM is mostly worthless to me at this point.........I am going to read and read and read, and maybe read my own thread.....oh wait, my pics are gone........ DOH!

Remember to torque the intake properly, I'd hate to see it warp on ya. Need the FSM for that. I know, I know one in every crowd.

You'll have her running on your next string of days off...I have faith, gotta have faitha, faitha, faitha....

I really was only making the point that my crappy 4.0 takes really good pics. my son bought the 10.0 and i have an HDD video camera with a 5.0....but of all of them this beat up, cracked, markings-missing about 8 year old camera still does the job.
I see, and yeah, I have a 10mp Cannon Powershot that I use for a lot of point and shoot (like most of the pictures I post here). But honestly, I still think my dad's old Canon AT1 (9mm film) with it's assortment of lenses takes the best pictures (but I'm an old softy for older tech). Though his new Rebel T2i SLR certainly is very nice. You also have to remember that a camera with a million megapixels does not necessarily take better photographs, 10mp gives you an image resolution that is extremely large, supposedly to capture more detail, but that detail is lost if the image is grainy and you end up with blurrier photos as a result. Converting these images down to a more reasonable resolution also harms image quality. While say your 4mp camera might not have the capability of resolving microscopic organisms on your engine block, it's a already at a good resolution that you can view the image at without having to rescale it to fit your screen. There's other factors too, but that's getting way too into detail. (hee, I made a pun)

I think the reason why some of the older digital cams take "better" pictures is because of the lack of settings and tweak-able features, many of which are changes on the fly by the auto-settings modes of modern point and shoots. Throwing colours off, taking unbalanced images, etc. However, if one spends a little time figuring out their point and shoot they can easily take amazing photos with one, maybe not ones that can rival professionally shot photos on a SLR, but for amateur photography it's more than acceptable. You should even be able to adjust the settings so that your ORANGE paint shows up red instead (there might even be a way to do it with your older camera too).

I was away for a while, stopped back in, and surprise, you're still not done yet.

I accept the blame for color variation in 92 Toy's pics. He had me alter them all. He drooled over my 'shopped pink block and decided to paint everything on his the same color. But, he didn't want anyone else to know.

Since I haven't received the agreed payment apart from the empty bottle of Johhny Walker supposedly broken in shipment, I'm outing him.

It's fairy pink. Really.
