Try using an extension on your ratchet, I did this when taking my drive shaft bolts out and it made it a lot easier to get the socket on the bolts.

Ok...break time

I must say, I impressed myself again.

diff is mounted to the frame once again...not torqued yet, but almost "Levi" tight.

pics....

so this is how it starts

1st problem...binding on the driver's side....what to do? what to do??

I'll get my helpers....

the I took a vote and voted against doing that. so with some intricate jack-work...a little here, a little there....and on and on...i got it close to where it needed to be

then with a little tug and a push on the ??axle tube...that's what i will call it, i was able to get the hole lined up on the driver's side and made my arms about 6 inches longer with a quick growth spurt and i was able to loosely-but-snug(ly) get that bolt in and tightened up

moving on to the passenger's side, i realized i was going to be doing this side quite blindly.....so a screwdriver through the hole to help line it up just right and then a bolt and it's nut and tightened it down a bit.

next will be to move on to the front and clobber the crap out of the crossmember to get it in place (i assume)

Oooo sorry my bad...

I thought tylenol was different from naproxen/alleve. Hmmmm learn something new everyday. I also thought Motrin was ibuprofen not naproxen. I guess I don't know as much as I thought I did.

I'm sure you'll be able to get them in...just don't the the latter, I don't think you want to be laying on the floor with that.

no,no, no.....you are absolutely right.

MIDOL....is a brand name that uses combinations of Ibuprofen (motrin), acetaminophen(tylenol) or naproxen(alleve) and other ingredients such as caffeine and other things to accomplish what they need them to.

this is why people need to read labels before taking over the counter meds and prescription meds at the same time.....you can overdose yourself unintentionally.

darvovet= tylenol and propoxyphene
percocet= tylenol and oxycodone
Midol, Doan's Pills, Goody's Headache powder and on and on, consist of meds that are easily and readily available in other forms under different names...you can cook your liver and kidneys by doing the "more is better" thing for any length of time too.

OK...that's the "medical Minute" of this thread.......back to the show.
