'92 toyota 3vze engine trouble when warm
Hey, i rebuilt the motor on my truck and I have some issues now. When i start her up she runs great but as soon as it gets a little warm it lurches especially in second gear I dont know why that is. It allmost seems like it hits a rev limiter sometimes. It is only in accelleration but then sometimes when i let off the gas it stalls. I checked my codes on the diagnostic and it said code 41 so i changed the tps and there is still the code. Im not sure if this has anything to do with the same problem but my motor will get up to normal running tempurature for about 10 minutes then start getting really hot. If i could get any suggestions that would be much appreciated thanks

After replacing the TPS you'd have to clear the codes by pulling the EFI fuse or disconnecting the battery for a minute or so.
As for the overheating, it may be the fan clutch not operating properly- not drawing enough air across the radiator, the radiator partially clogged and the coolant is not staying in the radiator long enough to cool down or the thermostat is sticking partially open, not letting enough coolant through to meet the cooling requirements of the engine. How long does it take to warm up?

I found the rough running problem, it was a disconnected ground but the truck warms up in about 3-5 minutes doesnt seem slow at all and it will just sit at warm for another 3 minutes and then start climbing whether im on the highway or driving on the side streets.
