what kind of hose did you all use to make the intake? Thought about buying one but would just rather make my own.

i used 3" flexible hose.

You could make your own, but seeing that the 3" hose was $20, it was easier than makin my own

how long did you guys extend the battery cables. anyone have a pic or something with length and where you connect everything up

I bought a battery + cable from Napa that was like 6' long, if I could have found one a couple of feet longer I'd have run the cable around the back of the motor. The - cable is the same length as the factory one and just grounded to the other side of the block.

Me?

If so then now I'm confused. As far as battery cables go you need to have enoug cable to go from the new location of the battery to the terminal on the starter......

That part that's circled? It's just a small Spectre filter that has been mounted to the top of the PAIR assembly. There is normally a hose that goes there from the factory air box.

oh ok. but you got no specific model? what is the ID? Inside Diameter?

I don't know what that one is in the picture but mine is a Spectre and it looks the same.

Hmmm.... don't think so. Looks to be a Spectre cone filter, filter adapter, factory AFM and Spectre flexible ducting and I think he made his own bracket to mount the AFM.

It says that Spectre Breathers may not be legal to pollution controlled vehicles. Is my 1990 a pollution controlled? Sorry i'm real new at all this.

That I don't know how to answer. I do know that mine has to pass emissions and it's passed with the Spectre stuff on there every time.
