I fixed your thread title to something a bit more relavent.
I remembered this post about the OBX header, based on this I wouldn't get one:
If you get one I would make sure it is listed specifically for your application...

Thanks guys for the kind words on this old beast..
What a long weekend..
I guess the most noteable aspect of the project was the attempted header install. But I suppose I should make it known that I've had a long standing rule that has been with me for some time now.. "Don't buy cheap junk, to save a buck or cut a corner.. Do it right the first time and spend a little more upfront to save a lot down the road.." Well, I broke that rule last weekend. I bought a cheap ass Ebay "OBX" header for my truck. Thinking this thing is a '83, and it's never going to be fast, so why get a "good" header? Well.. here's what happens when you buy cheap Chinese made junk:
And it still DOESN'T fit! I ened up just swallowing the ~$200 I spent on this POS and had to buy a legit LC Engineering header.

Thanks for editing up the title.
I would never let that type of thing happen. If something doesn't fit right, it will be properly modified. Not beat in to submission with a hammer...
