90 4runner Ceased Clutch
I just found a 90 4runner for parts thats all rusted out on the doors and ลลลล, but everything else is fine. It has a new transmission and ball joints, the main reason for getting it is for a driver side window, needless to say its 150 for a new window and not many people will sell u just a window from a truck. So for 50 more i get a whole truck . Of course now, iam really curious what it would take to get the clutch unceased, its stuck in 1st gear and to get the even remotely driveable would solve alot of problems and make for alot of fun.
Any info would be appreciated, otherwise i'll just get a mechanic to take a quick peak at it.

You could jack up the rear end and try to get the tires to move or hit the starter, or pull the truck with a chain...though I don't think you'd want to do ANY of the above stuff in 1st gear!

Check the clutch fluid. If it's low check the master cylinder and the slave cylinder for leaks. If none of those are your problem, you're probably going to have to remove the transmission and inspect the clutch.
