89 Truck... Should I give it a new home?
SO, I got a phone call from a friend, "Hey, I'm talking to a guy here that will sell you an 89 Pickup for $500, rust free, has a bad tick when it runs. It's 4x4, and has new tires. It'll need a rebuild, a new passenger's front fender, and a paint job eventually. Everything works though."
what the heck, I'll check it out I says.
so I did.
Tell me what you think. Bear in mind its only $500...
Has a 3" BL installed. put the air intake back on and the radiator, it will run.
Let me know what you guys think

was thinking 7mgte swap myself, with 4.56/31x10.50's or 4.88/5.12? with 33x10.50's, lockers of course. SR5 swap, add all the chrome stuff, paint it black... MMMM though I'd prolly just stay with the 4.56/31x10.50 combo. for what I do, it'd be more than adequate, would look rockin', and would haul balls!

No brainer. I didn't even have to see the pics. Get it. That front fender doesn't even look like it needs replacing, either. Just bang it out and you're good to go. I'm pretty jealous.

Buy it, then re-sell it to one of the several people on here that want it bad.
You should make a quick 250-500 easy.
Or buy it and put in a reman 22RE. For 500.00 you can't go wrong. You can have a really good truck for less than $1500.00 out of pocket, with a little work.
That is a screaming deal. You would be foolish to pass on it.
