Cool '89 sr5 torsion bar lowering?

Hey guys! I hope this isn't too stupid of a question. I just lifted my '89 xtra cab 4X4 with a Procomp (now I know why everyone refers to them as Pro-Crap!) 4" suspension lift. I like my truck to have a little "rake", w/front slightly lower than rear, but it's sitting pretty level. I could raise the back, but I don't really need any extra height. What I'm wondering is, can I lower the front a little (about 1") with the torsion bars? If so, will I need an alignment? (just had one done). Thank you sirs. Nev.

You CAN. Best option is equal distance between the top & bottom bumpstops, though.

Do you think it will change things enough that I'd need another alignment? Thanx TNR! Nev.

yes. 1'' in hight change will move all the points out of alignment. it wont be way out but probably still not in spec.
