So far this is what has been done in about 3 days. I don’t know a whole lot about body work, but I’d say it’s looking much better. I wish he would have sent me more photos, but he is pretty busy so I don’t want to bother him too often. I’ll continue to post updates as he sends them to me.

uhh, sorry to say, doesn’t look like rust repair, just slapping some filler on. appears as though the rust is still below the first coat. you will be disappointed with how quickly that fails.

Oh well, live and learn I suppose. At least right now the front half of the truck has actual replacement panels.

Body work is holding up, just need to paint it still. Been focusing on the engine lately. I’ve been dailying it and wheeling it on 3 cylinders for quite some time and decided it’s time to get it fixed. I want to take care of it, I’d feel bad if I blew the motor because of neglect. Will post more photos soon.

Looking happy, out in it's natural environment!

I especially like the last picture, with fuselage of a Huey behind the truck. That was the LAST background I expected to see.
Those helicopters were, and many still are, absolutely incredibly strong, durable, birds. Something troops were sure happy to hear, and see, inbound.

Have fun, and let us know what's up with the "running on 3 cylinders" thing!
Pat☺
