Got some more work done:
Got the speakers and stock deck hooked up lol big pita pulled an alarm/radar/secuirty system out of the dash, wat a mess. but my dash is finally back together.
Been working on some drawings for making a custom center console.
Having high speed wobble from 55 to 70 mph, could this be the stabilizer shock, or pitman arm??
Thanks Guys

your steering wobble will more than likely be caused from a little bit of play in lots of things being such high mileage. You'll want to get that fixed before you get big tires and a lift. As soon as you add those its not just a little shimmy of the wheel...its full on death wobble.

check out toyota fiberglass.com for your visor. Warning, you will want lots of stuff if you go to that site. And be prepared for a 5-6 month waiting period. They have a bit of a waiting list...
Just my 0.02, get all the little quirks delbt with and get it working top notch before you start going for appearance. Don't want to sink a bunch of money into making it look good then find out you need $2000 worth of parts to keep it on the road.

yes it did, worked wonders for me. It was really getting on my nerves, i kept redlining at red lights hehe. I easily do 1000 km/w and the 4runner is the only vehicle to last over 6 months without major repair that i have owned. i am very impressed with toyota, as this is my first.

Did you get a good way of removing the floor sound proofing? I want to pull mine out and get some bed liner down. Muskeet bog mud literaly smells like pooh and took months to go away after the snow started and all the lakes froze.

Good luck with the sound deadening unstoppable glue/goo on the floor. I've battled with that stuff in a few toys between 80 and 92. Not fun. I wish they coated the frames with that stuff, you would never see a rusted toyota frame if that was the case. It would make a wicked undercoating IMO lol. My best luck sadly was with a grinder with a grinding wheel (be careful) or an air chisel (be even more careful lol). It looked like some easy to remove rubberized spray coating but that material is not letting go of it's surroundings! If you use a grinder get a GOOD face mask, not a cheap underwear looking DUST mask, full on 3m. That stuff is NASTY.
