don't know how to explain it then.
the chain has a predefined length. bringing the gears closer means that something has to change in order to compensate, and since the chain isn't going to get shorter, one gear has to rotate and put some extra 'slack' somewhere.

You must degree the cam to see what the cam timing is. Anything else is a W.A.G.

I was reading a thread just now, threw a seach, that kept mentioning a EB (EngineBuilder?) 261 and 268 cam...I'd presume to go with the 268 because, if I read right, was for higher RPM, which I want to do...wind the damn thing out.

Question is, how is the EB 268 cam comparable to the LCE pro/street high RPM cam? I'm looking for something that will pull hard up to 4500. I'm clueless on this, thanks for any help

Still looking for an opinion. Still have the LCE in my shopping cart ready for me, anyone have some more input?
