87 PU Brake lights don't work

A cop pulled me over and told me I had no brake lights. I checked, sure enough, no brake lights. All my other lights work: taillights, turn signals, license plate lights etc. ?????

Fixed it

Replaced a bulb. Old bulb slightly discolored but filaments intact. Replaced it with a non-discolored bulb from my spares.

Have you checked your brake switch on your pedal?
