86 yota pickup AC questions
hey guys. my truck is a 86 pickup 22r automatic 2wd. its set up for ac on the inside (cab) but im missing a compressor and all bits in the engine bay. anyone have a link to an all inclusive kit i can purchase. including hardware and all that good stuff. any help is appreciated.

I don't know of any kit available. I do know that Denso's aftermarket line does list a compressor, condenser, receiver/dryer, and expansion valve.
Fortunately, all the critical wiring should already be in the engine bay. You can source out the piping and pressure hoses at a wrecking yard. I'd think any 84-88 truck should work.
The one thing you'll need besides piping are the two charge port plates off the wrecking yard compressor. The reman unit won't include those. You'll need a 6mm hex socket to pull those. Plus any brackets and bolts that are missing.
Whatever pieces you do have(piping, condenser, etc) you should pull and flush with rubbing alcohol and blow clean with compressed air.
Probably worth pulling the evap box(Much easier than it initially looks) and replacing all the O-rings, too.
