Great help guys. It is really appreciated.

I've already started reading up on the correct way to adjust the torsions. Sounds like I can do that and maybe upgrade the shocks in the near future.

did you notice that the rear leafs look flat and are resting on the overload? Blocks are not the best way to lift leaf suspension. Very "agresive" shocks also dont absorb shock very well. And could contribute to a harsh ride. Take some more pics of the rear suspension. but it looks like your leafs are done.

Yes, the rear leafs are resting on the overloads quite a bit. Not completely but quite a bit.

What kind of leafs do you recommend for the rear? OEM with an aal, some emu dakars? Like I said, the block is 2 inches and I'd like to keep the same amount of lift.

welcome to the forum!

You may want to look at the ZUK mod for the rears if you're on a tight budget. I just did it and removed my 4" blocks - same lift, plus maybe an extra inch. Now I need to relax my T bars to even it up. Check out the pics in my sig's DIY.

good luck!

Thanks Philbert. I actually read through that link in your signature last week. Looks like a great mod. I'll have to re-read it and look into it more closely.

Looks like I'll be doing the zuk mod. I ordered up some coils today. Thank you all for looking at the pics of my suspension. It put my mind at ease that the front looks fairly normal. I'll adjust the t-bars as needed after the coil install. Will need an alignment soon as well.

As you wish! Here are some crappy iphone pics. The truck isn't as raked as it looks. It's on a slight incline.

Thanks! It's a great truck. Only 135k miles, and seems to be in great shape. 22r runs smoothly.

What am I doing wrong with posting pics?

lol, you need to click the little icon above the text feild, and past the link to your picture in the promp that pops up

that will enter the right coding at the front and back of the link and make the pic post as a pic instead of just a link

I just saw this at the end of your post. You're obviously right. They are universals that the previous owner put on right before I bought it. I hate them, and am looking for some OEM's at the moment, along with an SR5 cluster. It also didn't have a rear view mirror, but I got one from a member here. SO much better with the OEM rear view. He gave me a universal rear view to put on the windshield... no thanks.

or if you have FireFox, right click on the image and "copy image location" Then paste that in the "insert image" after the image URL box pops up.

only do that to pics you know where they are coming from... If you do that enough an image can be swapped out for one that will get you banned... It's called "hot linking".

When you attach an image in your post, it's your and no one can change it's location.
That's the paperclip icon... and the images come from the pics on your computer.

If you setup a photobucket account you can copy all your pics to that and just hot link them and it won't use any of your attachments memory.
