4runners and pickups for sale on BAT
Bring a Trailer has been listing first gen 4runners and pickups with regularity. I follow the auctions closely. Not ready to part with my own 4r but good to have an idea of the value. Here’s the latest auction in progress.

Those are some beautiful trucks. I wish there were more in that kind of condition around my area!
A buddy and me have always talked about flying down to Arizona or somewhere that would have some fairly rust free trucks and road tripping them back up to Canada. Of course we came up with this idea before we both had wives and kids, so likelihood of it happening becomes less and less each year lol. We can always dream though!

I love seeing these hyper-clean amazing examples on BAT. I also believe they have little to do with the everyday value of more real world examples. BAT is a hyper specific slice of automotive transactions. My 93 is what I consider a great condition truck. It has relatively low miles (140k) has been in the family since new, has been maintained by the OEM. It also has been used as a truck, and lived in the Northeast for a while. It has dents, scratches, and surface rust. I know I can get good money for it but never BAT money. That is reserved for the anomalies, the preserved artifacts.

I personally would not pay 10k for it, but since your previous numbers showed average of 14k on Bat, then 10k might be about right. This one is not quite as clean as some I've seen on there, but it is in decent shape and is sr5.
I guess in a way, rising tide of new car prices lifts the used car prices too. I should start buying up every first gen I see.

Here’s a nice one. Seller focused on details. No 100%, but close.
